ESSO LM Not Responding When Multiple Google Chrome Windows Are Open (Doc ID 2486513.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

eSSO LM fails to respond to a web application when multiple tabs are open in Google Chrome.

eSSO LM is not responding to web applications when there are 2 open Google Chrome windows on the workstation. ESSO-LM will respond to the application after closing one of the windows. The problem is only reproduces in the Google Chrome browser.

ESSO-LM version 11.1.2.3.1
Chrome version Version 69.0.3497.100 (64 bits) and higher 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The ESSO-LM agent is expected to recognize and respond to web applications opened in multiple tabs or windows of the Google Chrome web browser.
 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Open the Google Chrome web browser.
  2. Enter the URL for a web application with a predefined application template.
  3. Open a new tab or browser window.
  4. Enter the URL for another web application also with a predefined application template.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use ESSO-LM to inject user credentials into web applications when multiple windows/tabs are open in Google Chrome.
