HTTP 404 referencing Static Application Files using #APP_IMAGES# tag (Doc ID 2488390.1)

Goal

HTTP 404 happens when referencing the Static Application Files using #APP_IMAGES# tag.

If you follow the instructions in the installation guide faithfully it will be carried out in this order:

1. Install APEX

3. Execute apex_rest_config.sql to create APEX_LISTENER and APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER.
SQL> apex_rest_config.sql

This installation sequence causes the 404 error with APEX workspace and application static files.
