OGG-01224 Oracle GoldenGate Collector For Oracle: Opening Port To MGR From SERVER Failed With 1:Connection Refused. (Doc ID 2489498.1)

Symptoms

Pump process is abended with below error message :

2018-12-28 13:58:14  ERROR   OGG-01224  Child process is no longer alive.

2018-12-28 13:58:14  ERROR   OGG-01668  PROCESS ABENDING.

 

In target ggserr.log file, it shows :


2018-12-28T13:21:56.823-0700 ERROR OGG-01224 Oracle GoldenGate Collector for Oracle: opening port to MGR from SERVER failed with 1:Connection refused.

 

In the target mgr report file,  error message shows :

2018-12-28 13:58:13  ERROR   OGG-01224  opening port to MGR from SERVER failed with 1:Connection refused.

2018-12-28 13:58:13  ERROR   OGG-01668  PROCESS ABENDING.

2018-12-28 13:58:14  INFO    OGG-00975  start_collector failed.
