How to upgrade SOA to 12.2.1.3.0 when exist Gridlink RAC datasources configured with LDAP Protocol? (Doc ID 2490535.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 08, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 12.2.1.3.0 to 12.2.1.3.0 [Release 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Fix issues on SOA 12.2.1.3.0 upgrade when there are Gridlink RAC datasources configured with LDAP Protocol on the domain.

An SOA 12.2.1.1.0 with Gridlink RAC datasources configured with LDAP Protocol, like:

jdbc:oracle:thin:@ldap://hostname:389/edhqa,cn=OracleContext,dc=na,dc=myserver,dc=com ldap://hostname:389/edhqa,cn=OracleContext,dc=na,dc=myserverr,dc=com

When it is upgraded to 12.2.1.3.0 version, on the Reconfiguration Wizard - Gridlink Oracle RAC Data step, the Connection String is not being loaded properly, and because of that the upgrade process can not let to move forward, the only way is to use generic connection strings, but this implies to change manually each one of the upgraded Gridlink RAC Datasources in order to correct the connection string to LDAP protocol.
