Queries Generated By ViewObjectImpl.buildQuery Is Not Compliant To MySQL Format When ViewCriteria Uses String Type Bind Parameters (Doc ID 2490618.1)

An ADF application is backed by a MySQL Community Edition Database.

In the application a ViewCriteria was set with String Type bind parameters.

While passing a value to the ViewCriteria, no results are returned.


After enabling logs at WebLogic Domain level to see the generated SQL behind the scene, below query was generated with String Type bind variable.


In the above query, the WHERE clause is not in MySQL format, that's the reason why result doesn't come.

How to resolve this issue?
