OUD12c - "Invalid argument(s)" Error When Attempting to Install OUD 12.2.1.3.0 Using Silent Installation Option (Doc ID 2492298.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.1.3.0 version, Installation

Receiving an error when attempting to install OUD 12.2.1.3.0 using silent installation option.

EX:

$  java -jar fmw_12.2.1.3.0_oud.jar –silent –response /u02/OUD/install.rsp –invPtrLoc /u02/OUD/Oud_inventory/oraInst.loc
Invalid argument(s): –silent,–response,/u02/OUD/install.rsp,–invPtrLoc,/u02/OUD/Oud_inventory/oraInst.loc


Following the documentation regarding silent installation.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Download OUD 12.2.1.3 Installation
2. Follow directions on running silent installation
3. Receive error

Due to this issue, OUD fails to be installed using the "-silent" option.
