Error "Target Type Not Supported" When Adding A Custom ICF Connector (Doc ID 2492346.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Privileged Account Manager 11.1.2.3.0: Connector for password sync

OPAM error when attempting to deploy a target with a custom ICF connector.

The following error is displayed when attempting to create a Target using a custom ICF connector in OPAM.

ERROR
"Target Type not supported"


STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Create/configure the custom connector as outlined in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Developers Guide for Oracle Identity Manager.
  2. Add the custom connector to OPAM as documented in Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator's Guide for Oracle Privileged Account Manager <https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40329_01/admin.1112/e27152/adv_config_tasks.htm#OPMAG31514 >

  3.  Attempt to create a Target for the custom connector in the OPAM Self Service UI.
