OID 11.1.1.7.0 Oracle Password Filter On Active Directory Logfile Shows "OID is down about to write to Event Log" When OID Is Actually Running. (Doc ID 2493471.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.7.3 version, OID Server

OID does not receive updated password from Active Directory (AD) (via password filter dll) when a user changes their Active Directory Password.

The Oracle password filter log on Active Directory shows the following error  "OID is down about to write to Event Log"

Changes

 On Active Directory a specific cipher "3DES" was removed to enhance security.
