Steps To Compile SOA Purge 11g (Doc ID 2493774.1)

Last updated on MAY 15, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.6.0 to 11.1.1.9.0 [Release 11gR1 to 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Once you apply patches that are purge related, changes goes into the file system where the binaries of SOA are located.  As purge is a purely Database procedure, you will need to push this changes into the DB in order for them to take effect.

In order to do this you will need to run a SQL script found on the SOA Binaries (files) location from the SOA Server.  You will need to have access to the DB server (SQLPlus or similar) from the location of the binaries.  If you don't have access you will  need to copy this scripts and all the subsequent scripts found on this file to a location where you do have access to the DB and make sure the scripts is able to find them.
