Announcements Mini Viewer Portlet Displays "Announcement Viewer" When It Should Not (Doc ID 2495355.1)

Symptoms

WebCenter Portal 12.2.1.2.180417

In the announcements mini viewer portlet:

- "Navigate to Announcement Viewer" option has been disabled.
- "Number of Announcements to show" parameter is set to 3.


In cases where more than 3 announcements exist, a link to "More Announcements..." appears, which is expected, since the maximum number of announcements has been exceeded.

When the user clicks on "More Announcements...", a popup appears which contains all the announcements.

However, when the user clicks on a specific announcement, the announcement viewer page shows up, which is not the expected behavior since "Navigate to Announcements Viewer" option has been disabled in mini viewer parameters.
