Launching Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM) 12c URL using the correct WebLogic Server (WLS) Admin Server port (default 7001) from a browser fails with:

WLS console and Enterprise Manager (EM) Fusion Middleware (FMW) Control using the same port number work fine.

Both odsm and oiddms deployments show as Active/OK in the WLS Console.

Same error occurs if using localhost and IP address on the URL instead of the hostname.

No errors in the AdminServer-diagnostic.log, but there may be errors in the AdminServer.log such as:
