Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Mapping uses a source Datastore on File technology, which is defined with columns of DATE datatype.

The target Datastore is on Netezza technology, and also uses a DATE column.

When running the Mapping, the DATE field in the File Datastore is taken as TIMESTAMP.

Even in the Mapping Physical tab, the Attributes section shows TIMESTAMP for the loading unit, which is incorrect.

Expected behavior: File DATE should be mapped to Netezza DATE.
