MYSQL Extract Shows Incorrect 'Lag At Chkpt' In Goldengate 18.1 (Doc ID 2499299.1)

Using Goldengate 18.1 version for remote extraction on mysql. When the table does not have a DML operation, the Lag at Chkpt displayed on the extract process will continue to increase.
After inserting  data into the source, Lag at Chkpt will immediately become 0.

Below is detail:

EXTRACT     RUNNING        EXT1              00:02:25      00:00:04    ---> Lag at Chkpt is 2+ minutes
>>>>> insert a record into the test table ABC.TAB1 , the lag becomes 0

Program        Status      Group       Lag at Chkpt  Time Since Chkpt
EXTRACT     RUNNING     EXT1             00:00:04      00:00:00        ---> Lag at Chkpt become to 0

GG version is:

OGG version: Version OGGCORE_18.
Database version: Server version: 5.7.20-log MySQL Community Server (GPL)
