"Read timed out" Error Received while Trying to Execute an ODI Load Plan using SalesForce Connectivity (Doc ID 2502783.1)

Symptoms

While executing an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Load Plan containing a Mapping that uses a SalesForce Source or Target, it fails with the following error:

oracle.odi.runtime.agent.invocation.InvocationException: http://<HOSTNAME>/oraclediagent:java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
