Post Upgrade to ODI 12c, TRANSACTION Reserved Word Is Improperly Used and Causes Execution Failure (Doc ID 2506911.1)

Symptoms

The Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Repositories have been upgraded from 11.1.1.9.0 to 12c.

While everything was running smoothly in 11g, the following error is encountered on the "Create target table" Task of a customized LKM for Netezza when running one of the upgraded Mappings:

Looking into the SQL code generated by ODI, it appears that TRANSACTION is used for one of target column names, while in ODI 11.1.1.9.0, TRANS was used instead.
