JMS Bridge Causing Duplicate Messages in Destination Queue (Doc ID 2507457.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 17, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When transferring messages from a Uniform Distributed Topic to a Uniform Distributed Queue via a Message bridge, it is observed that duplicate messages are being received by Uniform Distributed Queue

It is noticed that if one message is put in the Uniform Distributed Topic, the destination Uniform Distributed Queue receives  two messages with different JMS ID. This can be verified by viewing the content of the message that shows that both the messages are same.

Changes

Create a bridge that transfers messages from a Uniform Distributed Topic and put to a Uniform Distributed Queue
