Calendar Date Picker Not Selecting Time In PM For ARABIC After Upgrading To 12.2.1.3 (Doc ID 2507730.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 28, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

While selecting the date in Arabic, the label for PM is shown in English.

The label is also incorrect in Arabic. The value displayed after the date picker is closed shows Time A.M. Designatorص,  instead of showing Time P.M. Designator: م e.g. for selecting 4:00 PM.

Steps
----------
1) Click on any date field
2) When the date picker opens, select the time from slider - (here the label for PM is also shown in English; should be shown in Arabic)
3) Select the time e.g. 4:00 PM
4) When you select OK, the time changes to 4:00 AM rather than PM.

Environment
-------------------
JDeveloper 12.2.1.3.0
Linux x86-64 - Oracle Linux 7
