Symptoms
Admin Server takes several minutes to start as any of the remote nodes is down.
Taking a set of thread dumps, the suspect thread was identified:
The AdminServer tries to establish a connection with every managed server via the NodeManager, but this connection with a node that was stopped is taking more than expected, delaying the AdminServer startup process.
