Goal

You are in the process of analyzing a potential in-place or out-of-place upgrade. You understand that when you perform an out-of-place upgrade, it actually is a new side-by-side installation that can be fully performed, while the original SOA is still running. However, all historical information is lost.

Steps:

1) Install software.
2) Create domain.
3) Deploy composites.
4) Update load balancers/clients etc.

Is there a way to perform a side-by-side installation of SOA/OSB AND transfer/import all historical data into this new environment?
