Symptoms

The following warning message:

... is displayed when executing an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Mapping that loads data into a target column <TARGET COL> of datatype <TARGET DATATYPE>, using the following expression to set the <TARGET COL> attribute:

case when <SOURCE COL1> = <some value> then <SOURCE COL2> else <SOURCE COL3> end
