getPooledConnection() Takes Longer After Upgrade to JDBC 12.1.0.2 (Doc ID 2512752.1)

Symptoms

When using OracleConnectionPoolDataSource.getPooledConnection() to establish a database connection, it is found to perform slower when using JDBC 12.1.0.2.
In a real test case, it takes about 1000ms to establish a connection when using JDBC 12.1.0.2, while it takes about 500ms with JDBC 12.1.0.1, connecting to the same database server.

 

Changes

Upgrade to JDBC 12.1.0.2.
