Symptoms
Oracle Access Manager 11g (OAM 11.1.2.3.x) does not retain the LDAP_SSL_PROTOCOL setting in the oam-config.xml file after making changes in the OAM console
- When configuring OAM to make a TLSv1.2 connection to a back-end identity store the parameter LDAP_SSL_PROTOCOL must be manually added to the oam-config.xml file.
- See KM note 2255268.1 for more information
- However, after adding the LDAP_SSL_PROTOCOL and then making a change to the identity store from within the OAM console the LDAP_SSL_PROTOCOL is then removed completely.
