WebCenter Enterprise Capture Login to Capture Client with SSO Enabled Fails (Doc ID 2514272.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 05, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After installing WebCenter Content 12.2.1.3, including Enterprise Capture along with Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) 12.2.1.3 and Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11.1.2.3, when logging in the Capture dc-client using SSO, the URL is redirected to the dc-client page (/dc-client/faces/login.jspx) without the option of installing or launching the client.  However, if the user then puts dc-client/faces/dc-client.jspx in the URL, everything is fine.  The Capture Console works as expected.

This note covers multiple symptoms including:

Point a browser to https://<OHS_server>:<port>/dc-client, login to SSO, and the browser is redirected to the /dc-client/faces/login.jspx page. Login using SSO credentials generates the error:

Invalid Username or Password Specified.
