Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Oracle Enterprise Single Sigh-On 11.1.2.3.1: Logon Manager

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

The ESSO-LM agent appears to be conflicting with the robot automation process within a windows application and prevents the automated injection of data into an application window.

The ESSO-LM agent successfully recognizes the logon form for the application and injects the user's credentials into the form. There is a secondary window that appears within the application used by an automated Robot process that uses send keys to inject data into the window. The robot automation process fails when the ESSO-LM agent is running.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The ESSO-LM agent injects the user's credentials into the application logon form without interfering with the send key operation used by the robo-automation process to inject data into the secondary window.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Launch the application. ESSO-LM injects the user's credentials into the logon form.
  2. Initiate a task within the application to engage the secondary window with the robo-automation.
