JDK Crashes when Enterprise Capture Recognition Processor Processes a Specific Batch (Doc ID 2519450.1)

Symptoms

Running Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture 11.1.1.9.0 with Cumulative Patch 7. When starting the Capture managed server, it starts but immediately shuts down. When viewing the Capture managed server in the Servers section of the Admin Server Console, it shows the capture_server1 state as "FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE".

Attempting to start from the CMD prompt results in the following error that pops up outside of the CMD prompt:

Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

At this point, the Capture managed server stops.
