ODI Execution in Simulation Mode Fails with SAXParseException 'The entity "nbsp" was referenced, but not declared' (Doc ID 2523806.1)

Symptoms

In ODI 12.2.1.3.181204, when executing an object in simulation mode the execution fails with the following error stack:
