OSB Fails To Add Csf Key For Basic Auth To Outbound Request Header once BS Updated (Doc ID 2525069.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 07, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Service Bus - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An OSB REST business service has been configured to use an OWSM policy oracle/http_basic_auth_over_ssl_client_policy that references a csf-key configured in the credentials store.

It has been observed that service works initially until the service bus project gets redeployed or updated; it appears that the osb server fails to inject authorization property while preparing an HTTP request and as a result the external service returns an HTTP 401 - Authorization error.
