Oracle Identity Governance 12c Custom UDFs Added To Denied Attributes Of Custom Admin Role With Modify Users Capability Not Greyed Out (Doc ID 2526506.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 09, 2022

Applies to:

Identity Manager - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Identity Governance 12.2.1.3, when a user with a Custom Admin Role with the Modify Users Capability assigned to it is denied Update Access capability to Out of the Box (OOB) attributes and custom User Defined Fields (UDFs), only the OOB attributes are shown to be non-editable by being greyed out.

In the following example, we show 2 custom UDF attributes, UDF Space and UDFNoSpace which have been added to the list of Denied Attributes.  Notice, the fields appear to be editable.

It is expected that both Custom UDFs and OOB fields be greyed out when included in Denied Attributes.
