Symptoms

On : 12.2.1.3.0 version, Java Platform Security , upgradng the  WC 11.1.1.8 (11.1.1.7 OPSS) to 12.2.1.3 (12.2.1.3 OPSS)

Running reconfig script, fails with the next error:

2019-04-01 15:51:59,537 WARNING [89] oracle.security.jps.internal.keystore.ldap.KeyStoreDataManager - The keystore service DN cn=FarmKeyStore,cn=<APP_CONTAINER>,cn=JPSContext,cn=jpsrootnode is missing in the store; the target DN must be pre-configured.
2019-04-01 15:51:59,538 WARNING [89] oracle.security.jps.internal.keystore.ldap.LdapKeyStoreServiceImpl - Could not create keystore service instance. Reason oracle.security.jps.service.keystore.KeyStoreServiceException: JPS-06607: The keystore service DN cn=<FARM_KEY_STORE>,cn=<APP_CONTAINER>,cn=JPSContext,cn=<JPS_ROOT_CONTAINER> is missing in the store; the target DN must be pre-configured.
2019-04-01 15:51:59,538 FINE [89] oracle.security.jps.upgrade.tools.utility.JpsContextUtil - Exception :
oracle.security.jps.service.keystore.KeyStoreServiceException: JPS-06606: Could not create keystore service instance. Reason oracle.security.jps.service.keystore.KeyStoreServiceException: JPS-06607: The keystore service DN cn=<FARM_KEY_STORE>,cn=<APP_CONTAINER>,cn=JPSContext,cn=<JPS_ROOT_CONTAINER> is missing in the store; the target DN must be pre-configured.


The product installation, in this case WebCenter, is set with OPSS Policy Store File based, in 11.1.1.8.

In this case, the upgrade goes directly from File based to Database based, while doing 12c upgrade.
