"ODI-30048" Encountered when Using the ODI 12c OdiExportObject Tool to Export a Sub-Model (Doc ID 2529198.1)

Symptoms

The Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c OdiExportObject tool fails to export a Sub-Model, and following error message is observed in the corresponding Session:

ODI-30048: Unable to find the object with type SnpSubModel and identifier

For reproducing the behavior:

  1. Create a Model.
      
  2. Create a Sub-Model inside this Model.
      
  3. Create a Package, and implement the OdiExportObject command with "-CLASS_NAME=SnpSubModel" property:

    OdiExportObject "-CLASS_NAME=SnpSubModel" "-I_OBJECT=<GUID OF THE SUB-MODEL>" ...

  4. Run the Package, and observe the ODI-30048 received.
      
  5. Use regular export (or smart export) of the same Sub-Model, and observe the export succeeds.
