Symptoms

After upgrading Oracle Internet Directory (OID), e.g. from 11g 11.1.1.9.0 to 12c 12.2.1.3.0, without any errors or problems, oid1 component fails to start afterwards.

The other oid2 component is able to start without problems.

nodemanager.log shows:
