Managed Server Says The Node Manager Is Unreachable But Servers Start. (Doc ID 2529773.1)

Now in WLS 12.2.1.3.0, the server health is reported differently from previous 12.1.2.0.0 and older versions of WebLogic Server.

The machines show node manager status of reachable and the managed servers stop and start properly.

The issue is that when a managed server is shutdown, its health reports a status of "Not Reachable".

When in fact, it is reachable and able to be started by node manager.

This is causing confusion.
