Last updated on OCTOBER 27, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If a page is created with table with a mix of fixed-width and variable-width columns (stretchable columns) and table contains more than 25 rows (or the Row set limit) and user scrolls past that limit triggering a fetch, the newly fetch records columns are rendered as un-stretched. These next rows' columns are not be properly aligned with the table headers.

Scrolling further down to trigger another fetch of rows, the layout may correct itself (displaying all visible rows with the correct stretching). But scrolling back up to the first rows, those will be displayed incorrectly.

Behavior is seen in all major browsers.
