Exalogic Compute Nodes Hang on Exalogic Virtual (Doc ID 2535158.1)

In an Exalogic Virtual Rack, version, one or more compute nodes are found to be in a hanging state. The guest virtual machines running on that compute node will hang and become unresponsive as well.

Further symptoms include the following messages reported in /var/log/messages on the compute nodes.

In some situations, running 'ibstat' may hang, and rebooting the compute node clears the issue.

You may also notice several sminfo process in 'D' state.
