In an Exalogic Virtual Rack, version 18.104.22.168.0, one or more compute nodes are found to be in a hanging state. The guest virtual machines running on that compute node will hang and become unresponsive as well.
Further symptoms include the following messages reported in /var/log/messages on the compute nodes.
In some situations, running 'ibstat' may hang, and rebooting the compute node clears the issue.
You may also notice several sminfo process in 'D' state.
