Symptoms

One Operating System user can access Oracle Data Integrator (ODI ) Studio, and the Repositories connection succeeds...

...  but another Operating System user gets a NullPointerException (NPE) when using ODI Studio on the same machine, and connecting to the same Repositories, while the connection test to the same Master Repository succeeds:
