Last updated on MAY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.1.3.0 version, BPEL Service Engine

User Defined / Custom XPATH Functions were developed in JDeveloper 12.2.1.3 and a jar was built with it.

After adding the jar in JDeveloper -->Tools-->Preferences-->SOA and restarting JDeveloper these functions are not shown in XPATH expression editor.

Tried adding the JAR to the classpath in the jdev.conf file: AddVMOption -Xbootclasspath/a:{full path to the jar file} but still it does not work.
