Site Studio (SS) Java Script Error Generated in WebCenter Content (WCC) 12C: Refused to execute script ... (Doc ID 2543178.1)

Symptoms

Site Studio elements working in 11g fail in upgraded 12c contribution mode.   Java Script error is generated: 

Refused to execute script from 'https://abcddev2.xyzcom/cs/idcplg?IdcService=GET_FILE&dDocName=WCC_Cluster1-103986&RevisionSelectionMethod=Latest&Rendition=Web' because its MIME type ('application/js') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Login to WCC
2) Search for Data file (Site studio Data file)
3) Click on Info -> Edit Data File
4) Attempt to make some changes and save
5) Error is generated

Changes

 Upgrade WCC from 11g to 12c.
