"ORA-01722: invalid number" Error In OIM-OAM Integration During User Password Reset (Doc ID 2543914.1)

In a OIM-OAM 12c integration applied OIM Oct 2018: bundle patch and when a password reset happens for a user, the provisioning task to reset the password in the LDAP SSO target is showing the following exception:

The issue was reproduced as follows:

1. Reset a user password in OIM or via AD Password Sync Connector which reset the user password in OIM.
2. OIM then triggers password update task.
3. Password is updated in OUD Account, but ORA-01722: invalid number error is seen in the log.
