ODI 12c diRef.getDataSet(i, "Name") Does Not Return the Name of the Dataset (Doc ID 2545913.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c odiRef.getDataSet(i, "Name") does not return the name of the Dataset.

While attempting to use the substitution API call odiRef.getDataSet(i, "Name") to retrieve the name of the Dataset, instead of returning the name, odiRef.getDataSet(i, "Name") simply returns the strings "DATASET0", "DATASET1" and so forth.
