Users Can See the Latest Document Revision Which is in Workflow When Using the "View Document URL" from Content Manager in WebCenter Portal (Doc ID 2546041.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR


Using the View Document Link of a document from WebCenter Portal shows the latest revision of a document which is in workflow and not the latest released version.
 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to see the latest released version.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Upload a document to a portal.
   
   
2. Approve the document in the workflow.
   
   
3. Upload a new version of the document.
   
   
4. Get the View Document Link from WebCenter Portal.
   
   
   • In the Content Manager select the checkbox next to the document name and click the "Get Link" icon.
     
     
   • Note down the "View Document" URL.
     e.g.:
         
     http://[WCPHOST:PORT]/webcenter/portal/wccdoc?dDocName=<DOCNAME_ID>
     
     
     
5. Using a different browser view the document.
   You will see the document shows the latest revision of the document that is in workflow and not the released version.
