ODI 12c Test Error "ODI-1591: The ODI agent name <AGENT_A> specified in the client request does not match with the ODI agent <AGENT_B> serving the request" (Doc ID 2551422.1)

When testing an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.x Agent from within the Studio client, the following error is returned:

oracle.odi.runtime.agent.invocation.InvocationException: ODI-1591: The ODI agent name <AGENT_A> specified in the client request does not match with the ODI agent <AGENT_B> serving the request.
