Last updated on NOVEMBER 14, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software - Version 2.0.6.0.0 and later
Linux x86-64

Goal

This MOS note provides FAQ information on whether Exalogic Linux Guest vServer can be used as Local Yum Repo Mirror Server.

NOTE:

Local Yum Repo Mirror Server downloads the packages by connecting to Unbreakable Linux Network (ULN) channel and saves it locally. VM clients will connect and install packages from local Yum Repo Mirror Server when running "yum update" command.

Refer to below documentation which has information on how to create a local Unbreakable Linux Network mirror.
