GoldenGate Extract Abends With "Out Of Order SCN" Error (Doc ID 2553299.1)

Symptoms

Oracle goldengate v12.2.0.1.1 classic extract is abending with "OGG-02244 Error reading LCR from TranLog data source. Out of order SCN".
