Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 12c 12.2.1.3.0.

The realm administrator user, e.g., cn=orcladmin,cn=users,dc=<COMPANY>,dc=com is not set / pre-set / preset with a default password matching the superuser cn=orcladmin password (no userpassword attribute value set).

An ldapbind test with the known / correct default orcladmin password fails with:
