How to make a Rest API call so that you can setup password for cross domain security via Rest API ?

As per https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/wls/SECMG/domain.htm#SECMG409, it is needed to make a REST call to be able to set password for cross domain.

It fails with 405 error, although it shows that credential is a parameter.
