"Use unique temporary object names" Not Affecting Temporary Tables in ODI (Doc ID 2566917.1)

Symptoms

The Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Agent configuration option "Use unique temporary object names" does not modify temporary object names as expected.

  1. Under the Topology, locate and open the Agent. Go to the Properties tab. Locate the setting "Use unique temporary object names" and set it to true.
  2. Execute the mapping.
  3. Verify in the Operator log that the resulting code does not generate a unique name for the temporary tables.
