ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

ESSO Logon Manager client fails to recognize a web application on Windows 10

The ESSO-LM client does not inject the credentials into a web application after creating the application template in the ESSO Administrative Console.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The ESSO-LM client successfully recognizes the application and injects the user's credentials into the logon form on the web application page.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Create an application template for the web application in the ESSO Administrative Console.
  2. Publish the application template to the repository.
  3. Open the IE web browser and enter the URL for the web application.

 

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use the ESSO-LM client to authenticate to a web application.
