Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Logon Manager

The ESSO Trace Controller Logging Utility is generates an error and fails to start logging on Windows 7 after applying recent security patches from Microsoft.

0x80070057 Parameter incorrect



STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Update the Windows 7 platform to the latest Microsoft Patches
  2. Launch the tracecontroller utility on the Windows 7 workstation.


BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot capture logging for ESSO issues with the Trace Controller utility.
