OVD 11g Returns Timeout on Pulling Data via LDAP Adapter/ View (Doc ID 2571862.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g.

Timeout when pulling data via OVD view / adapter.

OVD access.log shows err=3 (timeout, or time limit exceeded). For example:
