IIS Proxy Causing IIS Server Crash at Faulting Module Name: MSVCR110.dll in lseek() With Invalid Value (Doc ID 2572167.1)

Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

IIS worker process crashing 3 or 4 times an hour due to iisproxy plugin module calling msvcr110 _lseek() with invalid value.
During the crashes, IIS became unresponsive.
Microsoft support identified crash caused by iisproxy.dll.

Errors in Event Viewer.
